Realistically, it takes most people around 50 to 60 hours to be ready for their FAA Checkride and written Exam (knowledge test).  The faster you can do your training the better your learning curve will be and the faster you can get through your objectives.

§ Airplane: $100/hr at 40-60 hrs. = $4,000.00-$6,000.00

§ 10hr Block: $95/hr @ 40-60 hrs. = $3,800.00-$5,700.00

§ Instructor:  $30-35/hr @ 20 hrs. = $600.00-700.00

§ Renters Insurance = $630 or more per year

§ Total: $4400.00-$6,400.00 *

            We have a Jepessen Private Pilot Kit in stock in the Pilot Supply Shop in the office with everything you will need for a home study course, logbook, etc. for $250.* We can also schedule a Classroom Style Ground School for you if so desired.
